Dr. Makowski graduated from Cornell Veterinary School with honors in 1977. She is a

member of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association; the International Veterinary

Academy of Pain Management; and the American Canine Sports Medicine Association. She was

certified by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society in 1998, the International Veterinary

Chiropractic Association in 2004, and is a graduate of the UT Canine Rehabilitation course.

Dr. Makowski is not only an experienced vet and proud owner of two Weimaraners but she
